September 13th marked 20 years since the U.S. had a federal assault weapons ban in place. To commemorate the date, we met with the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention, lobbied, and secured 12 new cosponsors for the GOSAFE Act. We now have a total of 18 co-sponsors in the Senate and 33 co-sponsors in the House!
