WFXB FOX TV: March Fourth Marched in Nation’s Capital, Calling for Assault Weapons Ban

March fourth marched in the nation’s capital yesterday. March fourth is a local group formed after the Highland Park fourth of July shooting in Illinois. Many of the members are parents who are bonded from similar tragic circumstances regarding gun violence. They marched to pass a bill that would make it illegal to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess a semi-automatic weapon. The bill made it through the house on a close call with 217 voting in favor and 213 against. President Biden praised house democrats for passing the measure, as well as urging the senate to do the same.
